SACRAMENTS

Baptism
Fr. Wiesław is always happy to baptise new members into the Christian family. Please speak to him directly if you wish to have your child baptised. Baptisms are normally carried out during Sunday Mass, but can happen outside this time, particularly in urgent situations. To have a child baptized very few documents are necessary: birth certificate in any language and the parent’s data. God parents must be practicing Catholics. At least one God Parent must be present at the ceremony.

Reconciliation
Fr. Wiesław is available to hear confessions every Sunday before mass 10-11.00. At other times confessions may be arranged by appointment. Our children have a formal opportunity to discuss and participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation twice yearly; during Lent and Advent. Unfortunately, at the moment we cannot provide with another priest for Confessions

First Communion and Confirmation
Preparation for these two sacraments for young people takes place as part of the CCD or Catechism classes. Details about the CCD program can be found here CCD. If you are a Baptised Catholic and have not made your First Communion, Confirmation or have been outside for the church for some time, you can find details of our program of adults here Beginner in Faith Program

Marriage
Couples wishing to marry in the Roman Catholic Church must complete a Marriage Preparation Course or “Precana Course.” We have started a Precana Course. Meetings will be held each Saturday at 16:00 at Radna. Please contact Fr. Wiesław if you want to attend.
Sacrament of the Sick
This Sacrament is often confused with so called “Last Rites”. The Anointing of the Sick is in fact a sacrament of healing. It is bestowed on a person seriously ill. Please feel free to call our priest on a sick call.

Vocations
Everyone has to try and discern what they should do with there life. For some Marriage and Family life is their vocation for others Priesthood or the consecrated life. If you feel you have a calling or just feel like you need some guidance in discerning your own vocation, please contact Fr. Wiesław or Fr. Benjamin Kuczała OSA.
